Sport Coaching Philosophy

May 20th, 2008

My Coaching philosophy is:

  • As long as you are trying your best thats all that i can ask of you.
  • You must listen carefully to instructions because the last thing that a coach wants is an injury.
  • Winning and loosing isn’t necessarily the reason that people become involved in physical activity
  • Sportsmanship is very important and it is essential to participate fairly.
  • Being nice, playing to the rules and accepting winning or loosing.
  • Self esteem is essential in helping form a sense of self.
  • Social factors are improved by participation of regular physical activities.
  • If an individual is apart of a team then there social health is improved greatly.
Thats what i believe should be considered whilst being a coach for any sport.
