success was the major point with coach carters coaching style. If there was no great success there was no point for the autocratic coaching style, as the players would not bother putting up with the hard coaching sessions, the suicides, the push ups, and critical coach carter.
Respect was also another major aspect put across in the movie, coach carter stated that in order to gain respect they needed to give some respect. If this did not work with the players, coach carter would have given up on his team, and would have left them with out a victory.
Their success in school work was also a problem and coach carter would not let them play until they had succeeded in their work so that they could go to collage and succeed in school and make a life for themselves.

Autocratic: you would use the autocratic when you are being a strict coach that makes all the decisions and having total control over the situation. For example; at the beginning of a session so that you get them under control, listening and paying attention. Democratic: you would use this when you let the players contribute evenly and in a more relaxed environment. For example; when you are getting them to split into different teams. Laisse Faire: you would use this when you are a little more relaxed and don’t care all that much. For example; when they have finished the session and are having a muck-a-round game.

My Coaching philosophy is:
- As long as you are trying your best thats all that i can ask of you.
- You must listen carefully to instructions because the last thing that a coach wants is an injury.
- Winning and loosing isn’t necessarily the reason that people become involved in physical activity
- Sportsmanship is very important and it is essential to participate fairly.
- Being nice, playing to the rules and accepting winning or loosing.
- Self esteem is essential in helping form a sense of self.
- Social factors are improved by participation of regular physical activities.
- If an individual is apart of a team then there social health is improved greatly.
